Original..... all of our posters are original. An original poster is a primary work of art which was not derived from something else. Original posters are printed in limited quantities to visually communicate an idea by attracting a passerby's attention. Posters can be printed only once or sometimes, usually due to a poster's popularity, can be printed again. Reproductions of a poster are copies or counterfeits of an original poster. We do not sell any reproductions.

Condition.....all posters are in Condition A - new, very fine, mint condition, unless otherwise indicated.

Linen-backed/mounted.....most posters are linen-backed/mounted. Linen-backing makes the poster easier to handle, prevents damages, keeps the poster in mint condition, adds to its present value & preserves its value for the future. It is a labor intensive process - retail value approximately $75.

Date(s).....publication date(s) of poster. (Posters often contain the date of poster design which may be different from date(s) of publication.)

Size.....CYRK posters are approximately 27"w x 39"h (69cm x 99cm) unless otherwise indicated. If exact dimensions are required, contact us. Size of non-CYRK posters listed with image. Size is dimension of the paper sheet; linen-backed posters add a half inch margin to all sides.

Prices.....as indicated. If more than one year is listed for publication dates, price indicated is for 2nd or 3rd printing. (Note: If publication year has an asterisk (*), 1st printing is available and contact us for price. If poster says 'Contact for Availability', and poster is still available, price will be provided.)

Availability.....all posters are available in limited quantities, subject to prior sale; many are very rare & one-of-a-kind. If poster says 'Contact for Availability', quantity is very limited.

Printing.....offset lithograph on paper. All posters were printed in Poland.

Artist's name.....because artists were commissioned by the Polish government to design posters, most posters contain the artist's name &/or signature in the design. If artist is not known, poster is listed as anonymous.

Museum collections.....if a CYRK poster is in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, the Library of Congress (LOC) in Washington DC, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) in San Francisco, the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London, or the Musée de la Publicité (MP) in Le Louvre in Paris, this will be indicated alongside the image of the poster. (European/Asian poster museum collections are not indicated.)

Shipping/handling.....poster shipped in mailing tube, fully insured. For most posters allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. If poster says 'Available for immediate shipment'- allow 7-10 days for delivery. (If overnight delivery wanted, contact us.) S&H to US - $10, Canada - $25, UK & Western Europe - $45, other countries - $55. S&H is for total poster order (no matter number of posters ordered).

For framed orders (framing only available in the U.S), there is a $35 shipping charge for the first framed poster; $25 shipping charge for each additional poster.
